Just completed this song.
Wrote it during a dry time when I was doin the totally opposite of what God wants me to do.
Was also wondering why God wants me to be away from him but then realised it was me who wanted to be away and not him.
Also realised in all situations 'Blessed be his Name'.
Hopefully this song might encourage or motivate someone who is goin thru the same situation.

As I lay down begin to think
Realize how my life has been
I’m filled with words of hollow faith
That once was full of hope and grace

My soul has turned numb to you
The songs I sing have empty truth
Am in this trap of self tied chains

Am so tired of this tripping game
I stand up firm then fall again
