Electro Harmonix Memory Toy Demo

Just found this video on youtube.com.
This is a demo that I had done for Bhargavas Music, Mumbai. I had received a call from Sunny Dsouza who happens to be the Sales Manager and a good friend as well. He wanted me to do a small demo for the Electro Harmonix Memory Toy Delay Pedal. I was quite obliged plus I love using the delay effect in my playing so I had no choice but to go ahead with it.

I recorded quite a few tunes out of which we narrowed down on the one shown below. It’s from Supervibe’s original called ‘Fly Away. Enjoy.

Bands that I've played with lml

I was going through my album and realised that over the past few years I've played guitars with a handful of bands. So I've decided to write down some of my memories that I have with these bands.
Till now, I have played with the following bands.(You can Click on the band name)

Sliver ( 2002 -2003) Genre: Grunge Rock
Wateva (2003 – 2004) Genre Classic Rock, Rock and Roll
The Limit Breaks (2004 - 2006) Genre: Punk Rock
The Other Side  (2009-2010, 2011 to present) Genre: Alternative Rock/Rap Rock
By Grace (2005 – present) Genre: Christian Rock/Praise and Worship
SuperVibe (2010 – present)  Genre: Alternative/Funk/Electro Rock

I've had and continue to have some amazing times with each and every one of them which I dont regret at all. So I try and write something about each one of them in the days to come. Hopefully to relive those amazing days once again.

Cheers +

The First Drive with my First Ride !!

I would definitely rate driving the car all by myself as the situation that gave me pressure like never before.
I had already gone through a bad experience of banging my car through my building wall the previous week. Thankfully, I had installed the front guard on that very evening which saved me from any dents or scratches. I wonder why I wanted to go through the wall. I guess watching a lot Harry Potter movies those days made me believe there are places beyond building walls.

Anyways, so I finally decided that it was time to take my car bravely outside for a drive. Enough of the laziness and fear. It was time to face my fear. And what better time than 3 in the night when the roads are absolutely empty.

So I switch my computer off, carry a bottle of water and head towards my car. I decided to switch off the music in the car as I didn’t wanna lose my concentration while driving.
So now I strap my seat belt, disengage the parking brake, say a short prayer and start the engine.
Woof, I then reverse it gently and take it for a spin. I decided to go the beach which is around 6 kms away from home. After getting through the bad roads in my lane, I finally reach the main road and go towards the beach.
The only obstacles that I had on my way were these cows that I had never expected. I anyhow managed to dodge them and reached the beach in no time.
Returning home again through the cows seemed like a piece of cake, I was so impressed by myself that I decided to go to the beach again so I went to beach, stayed there for sometime all alone and returned home. This was by far one of the proudest moments in my life. Not only did I face my fear but also learnt that we at times forget to enjoy the moment cause we have so many stupid things running through our minds.
Anyways, so that was it about my first drive in my first ride.

SuperVibe completes a Year !!

We completed a year with SuperVibe last month.

Still remember the day when we had vocalists coming in to audition for the band. Those were some funs times. We've had quite a trip since then.Played in quite a few places and competitions.
here a pic of mine when we performed at Inorbit Vashi.

I particularly like this pic cause this one identifies me as a guitarist alot.
No Flashy stuff... Pure melody and only important things that are required.

Black and white can bring about emotions that other flashy colours at times tend to push at the background

Playing with SuperVibe at 'Live at InOrbit; in Decemebr 2010.
